Our 7th grade son was so disorganized that it negatively impacted his grades and attitude. He was not handing in his homework because either he could not find it or he did not know it was due. His backpack was an explosion of papers. Every day was a severe test of our patience as our son tried to find homework he thought he might need to work on. We were at our wit's end.

Enter Lori.

Firstly, she is fantastic with kids; her positive, can-do attitude is infectious. Secondly, she not only explained to our son that being organized would make his life easier, but she got him to believe it and believe he could achieve it. She worked with him to develop a system he could use to organize his schoolwork at school, at home, and in between. He improved his organization very quickly and after 4 months, he no longer needs us to micromanage his schoolwork. This has greatly lowered everybody's general evening stress levels. He knows what is due and when it is due. He is even more focused and uses his homework time more efficiently. As an added bonus, she helped us become more organized as a family, especially with our scheduling of activities. We highly recommend Lori for any family with a disorganized child. More time, less stress, happier child, more confident child, better grades, happier parents.

Dear Ms. Bruhns,
Thank you for coming to speak to our 6th period AVID class.... I applaud your magnificent ability to open our minds to the aspects of organizing and how it can positively affect our grades. One out of the many things I admire about your is your ability to keep us focused and guessing what you were going to teach us next. Not one student was bored during your lesson. I thank you again and hope to see you sometime in the future.

Dear Ms. Bruhns,
Thank you for coming to speak to us about organization and time management. You taught me that if you manage your time well, you will become organized and vice versa. My favorite part was when you talked about how to use your agenda. I liked this part because I have never been very good at using it. Thank you for spending your valuable time with us.
